The Swallows

The swalows in our shed have hatched a second clutch of chicks and they have flown but return to the nest in the evenings. It's lovely to see them playing in the sky with the clutch from earlier in the summer. Here's a photo of them resting after a long day playing in the air.

Puffball mushrooms

Super news. Henry found puffball mushrooms under the trees at the top of the boreen. We sliced them like cheese and fried them on the pan in butter. Yumeeeee.

A visit to the playground

The pigs have arrived

The two saddle-back pigs have settled in and are knocking back the slop. They are funny and we're so happy to have them here.
